A session on designing assistive technology around real needs, alongside the launch of an AIoT labs initiative.
At the IEEE IES Hubs & Nodes Initiative event at Rajagiri, I led a session on Assistive Technology and Inclusive Innovation. The discussion focused on why inclusion matters and how students can think about, design and curate projects that address practical needs.
The gathering also marked the launch of the AIoT Labs Initiative by the IEEE Sensors Council Kerala Chapter, led by Shone Jose. It connected the discussion of inclusive project design with a wider effort to bring hands-on AIoT education to engineering campuses across Kerala.
