An inclusive technology hackathon at Vidya Academy of Science and Technology, turning ideas into practical assistive solutions.
AssistX brought STRIDE's inclusive innovation approach to Vidya Academy of Science and Technology. The hackathon challenged participants to turn ideas into real-world solutions for neurodivergent individuals and people with disabilities, with attention to impact, scale and sustainability.
I contributed to the wider programme linking awareness and student innovation. AssistX was its own event, distinct from SheSolve and Thinkable. Together the three hackathons recorded 708 participants and 228 submissions; those totals are programme-wide and should not be read as AssistX attendance or submissions alone.
