First-year biomedical engineering students explored the field's specialisms, career options and scope through a talk and quiz.
IEEE EMBS Sahrdaya and the Biomedical Engineering department designed BioMed Insight as an introduction for new students. The session covered different areas within biomedical engineering and the kinds of jobs they can lead to.
A quiz at the end checked participants' understanding, with a prize for the winner. The afternoon programme brought together 43 students in the biomedical classroom.
