Codex: Scientific Computing Using Python

A five-day faculty-development programme on using Python in scientific computing, teaching and research.
The Computer Science and Engineering department and IEEE Computer Society organised this faculty-development programme from 1 to 5 July. Sessions ran each morning in Main Block Lab 1.
Dr. Sreeraj R, Dr. Krishnadas J and Livya George led the programme, with Priya K V and Sreejith P S coordinating it. The focus was on the skills and knowledge faculty could use to integrate Python into scientific-computing courses and research activities. Thirty participants are recorded in the report.
