An educational-video contest challenged students to explain AI or quantum mechanics as simply as they would to a five-year-old.
The Education Week collaboration with NIT Calicut invited participants to turn complex ideas into accessible teaching videos. Students could choose between AI and quantum mechanics.
Adwaith Jayasanker of Sahrdaya won the contest and the ₹500 prize. The challenge celebrated clarity and inventive teaching rather than technical vocabulary alone.
