An international virtual career fair connected candidates with recruiters through company booths and job applications.
I served as Co-Lead of the virtual career fair powered by IEEE Region 10 Young Professionals, working on strategy, coordination and engagement. IEEE Industry Engagement and IEEE Students collaborated on the initiative, which took place on 15 August.
The fair recorded 245 registrations, 31 recruiters, 2,578 booth visits and 310 applications. Working with the global team involved bringing recruiters and participants into the same virtual space and turning the event's planning into opportunities people could explore directly.
