LaTeX Training for BME Students

Biomedical Engineering students practised creating technical documents and mathematical notation in LaTeX.
The Computer Science and Engineering department and IEEE Computer Society organised this training for Biomedical Engineering students. Sonu Bijoy and Pyari M from ASAP introduced LaTeX as a tool for academic and professional document preparation.
Students moved from an introduction to the system into hands-on document creation, including mathematical equations and notation. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Manishankar S and took place in the final-year Biomedical Engineering classroom. Forty-five participants are recorded in the report.
