A two-day workshop for 160 students, covering Python foundations, data analysis and machine learning methods.
The IEEE Computer Society chapter conducted Machine Learning Using Python on 13 and 14 September 2023 in the Decennial Block and Main Block computer laboratories. Neenu Shereef, Aneete Sara and Blessy Paul P led the programme for 160 students.
The first day covered machine learning fundamentals, essential statistics, Python data types, conditionals and loops. Day two progressed to data analysis, supervised learning, reinforcement learning and the Q-learning algorithm.
