Classroom conversations introduced students to IEEE resources, professional networks and opportunities to volunteer.
The branch took its membership campaign into individual classrooms, reaching students beyond the first year. Robin Francis explained how membership connects students with technical resources, activities and a wider engineering community.
The campaign ran over three days beginning on 6 February. More than 500 students participated and expressed interest, according to the annual report; this is an engagement figure, not a count of completed memberships.
