PCB Workshop Using KiCad

A hands-on KiCad workshop took students from schematic capture to PCB placement, routing and design validation.
IEEE Circuits and Systems Society and the Electronics and Communication Engineering department hosted Prof. Jagadeesh Kumar P from Model Engineering College, alongside MEC students Harish Hari and Aparna M Sunil.
Participants worked directly with KiCad to explore the stages of PCB design. Guided exercises and questions covered schematic capture, component placement, routing and validation, giving students a practical starting point for their own hardware projects.
