Around 25 teams explored assistive technology and inclusive design during a STRIDE gathering at Sahrdaya.
I contributed a session on inclusive design at the STRIDE Zonal Connect at Sahrdaya. Around 25 teams came together with ideas ranging from assistive devices to sensory-friendly learning tools, presenting their thinking and preparing for the final rounds.
The team from NIPMR Irinjalakuda shared insights into neurodivergence, helping ground the conversation in the needs of the people the projects aimed to serve. The day combined project discussions with perspectives on empathy, accessibility and designing technology that more people can use.
